Rekindling The Passion

What have I been up to lately?

Hanging out with movies with my better half! Watching movies have always been one of our passions in life. We've been jumping from one theatre to the other for the past weeks--that's if we're not at home in bed watching movies from the laptop!

The Fantastic Four
This movie is really fantastic! The silver surfer is soooo cool and "astig"! Besides the fact that the movie's message is something I can really relate with: "Everyone has a choice! We just have to be ready to face the consequences, whether this be beneficial or not, of the choice we opted to take--even if it means sacrificing ourself or the things we want/need in the process." (Oh, and I can also relate to the relationship of Reed and Sue, especially when it comes to promises made and promises broken! Hehe.

Next caught me breathless! The stunts and effects plus Caige's delivery of his character really kept me wanting for the next scenes of the movie! The movie's message, "going beyond oneself" is so dramatically interpolated in the movie--yet can sometimes happen in really life (yes, even paranormally). Compared to Sandra Bullock's "Premonition", which I can totally relate with, Next makes you wonder "what if" you really had that special gift and the wonderful things you can do to save mankind--or just yourself! Hehe. Tempting, really! (I wish!)

Here's one movie John and I went gaga over! I love this movie!!!! Who would believe that we had to go out at 11:00 p.m. just to watch this movie's initial screening at exactly 12:00 a.m. of 6/28/07 in The Block, SM North Edsa! Being our monthsery, its a totally, totally memorable experience we both enjoyed! (Believe me, we kept on singing "the transformers, more than meets the eye!" jingle until a day after aside from mimicking the sound of Optimus Prime transforming either way as he commands the other Autobots, "Autobots, roll on!" Oh, we can't help but feel that our motorcycle would transform into a robot as we rode home after the movie! Haha!) Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! In my movie-watching history, this is the first movie I look forward to watching again--next time in Imax at MOA! (Sana sahod na! Weee!!!!)

So, how have you rekindled your passions lately? =)

P.S. I suppose you could also say collecting memorabilia (e.g. in this case, movie tickets) is another passion of mine.
